This Backhoe Quilt Pattern is prefect for those little boys who love playing in the dirt. The multiple sizes mean that you can make it for Toddlers and Preschoolers, or for baby's construction themed room. My sons is into construction vehicles by age 3 he could name them all.
3 sizes: The main instruction is for the Crib 36"x42", with additional pages for 24x28 and 48"x56".
Though the crib size is of course great for baby, it also works paired with another construction vehicle in the same size as a twin bed quilt. Or add more borders to the large size for a twin bed. Maybe you just want it for wall decor, use the small size and add baby's name across the bucket for that personal touch. There are so many possibilities.

The pattern uses charts telling you how many strips to cut for each color. Then another set of charts giving the length of the pieces. The shaping is done using quick corner triangles, or the "snowball method".
Once the pieces are cut you just follow a full page color picture "map" showing how the puzzle goes together using your alphabetically labeled pieces to sew row by row.
If you can sew a true 1/4 inch seam you can put this quilt top together.
