This Baby Brown Bear is a cute addition to my forest friends.
The pattern scales for 3 sizes: 36"x42' crib, with additional 24x28 and 48"x56"
You can make this little guy as a traditional baby blanket, or perhaps it would be more fitting as a wall hanging in a rustic room, or as lap quilt for your special outdoors-man. Whether you make it small as part of a bigger project, or center the Large size on a twin or full bed, you will enjoy the process of piecing the quilt together.

The pattern lists fabric yardage, then a strip cutting table. Followed by a set of charts giving the number of pieces to cut from those strips. The shaping is done with quick corner half square triangles also known as the "snowball method". Once those squares are marked you will piece together the top row by row following a full page color image, alphabetically labeled, of the quilt.
PDF format: You are ordering a 6 page color PDF format quilt pattern to be downloaded once payment has been processed, and then printed by you.
Hard copies are also available.
I had a good friend and neighbor suggested a cute fishing bear, she is from Alaska. I had a little too fun with that idea and made a Bear with a pole and hat fishing. But I think this is more what she had in mind. The face on the fish is optional.
I can really see this design being at the center of a larger quilt using borders of rustic woodlands and bears. So get creative and see what you come up with. Don't forget to post your pictures too.
