This Carnotaurus Dinosaur Quilt Pattern is perfect for that true dinosaur loving preschooler . In fact it was designed for a customer who said her grandson knew the difference and needs a Carnotaurus, not a Trex. Since it was adapted from my T-rex block, it is easy to take the horns off and have a T-rex quilt.

The pattern comes in 3 sizes: main instruction is for the Crib 36x42, with additional small 24x28 and large 48x56. * Border is not included in instructions or measurements.
The great thing about the 3 sizes is you can make one for baby and one for big brother. The large size works well for toddler beds , or as a lap quilt. Or border the large size to put it on a twin bed. If you are looking for a Twin bed pattern I do have a collage and block collection.

The pattern lists fabric yardage, then charts for how many strips to cut, and then how many pieces. Once the pieces are cut you follow a full page labeled picture, sewing straight 1/4 inch seams. The shaping is done with quick corner triangles, or the "snowball method". Lay a square on top and sew corner to corner, then trim and flip. Then follow a full page labeled image of the T-rex as you assemble the quilt row by row.
