This is one of my largest Counted Quilt images. A beautiful fall scene of a deer by the river still made in my easy stripped and pieced method. This deer was requested that the image fully cover a twin size bed, which you can see it does, hanging over the edges nicely, as shown in the green room picture (3rd). The blue room shows how it cover even a queen size bed. Add whatever size borders you want for the appropriate overhang and it could center a queen or even king size bed.
Finished size is 66x87 inches
Quilt level: Intermediate. Though the process is the same as my beginner quilt patterns, this design has a lot more pieces requiring greater accuracy.
Process: Cut fabric yardage into varying size strips, then cross cut into different length rectangle pieces, and label alphabetically. Finally sew the quilt top together piece by piece, row by row. The shaping is done with half-square triangles.
