This friendly pair of Dolphins is a surprisingly simple pieced pattern inspired from my trip to Hawaii where we saw some Dolphins right next to the boat. Make this quilt for Dolphin lovers of all ages.

The pattern scales to 3 sizes: Main instruction is for the 36x42 Baby quilt, with additional 24x28 and 48x56. The large size can easily be bordered as the center of a twin or full bed.

Skill Level: Beginner

The pattern lists fabric yardage, then uses tables to show the number of strips to cut, and the number of pieces to cut from those strips. The entire top is then sewn using straight 1/4" seams. The shaping is done with quick corner half square triangles, or the snowball method, drawing a line corner to corner sewing down that line and trimming the extra off.
