This a fun one! The lizard can be done using traditional greens or with more colorful fabrics. I recently used the smallest of the 3 sizes included in the pattern to make a twin size quilt with a variety of lizards that matched some fun Gecko fabric I found.
scaled to 3 sizes: Main instruction is for Crib 36"x42", with additional 24x28, and 48x56".
Make this in the crib size for your crawler's tummy time, the large size for a toddler bed, or border 1 large or several small for a twin bed.

The quilt is sewn in a strip method piecing squares and rectangles together. All straight cutting and all straight seams. The curved body my look complicated but as with all my pattern the shaping is done with quick corner triangles, just sew a straight line corner to corner.
The pattern lists fabric yardage, then uses charts to show the number of strips to cut, then a set of charts showing the number of pieces to cut from those strips. Then you follow a full page, alphabetically labeled color picture of the Gecko.
