Gray Whale Quilt Pattern - 3 Sizes

Gray Whale Quilt Pattern. A simiplified version of my original whale pattern.

3 Sizes: Main instruction for 36x42, with additional 24x28 and 48x56 image.

Pattern includes: Yardage and cutting charts. First chart for strips, second set of charts are for piece length from those strips. Shaping is done with quick corner triangles. Once those are marked you will follow a full page image of the quilt with alphabetically labeled pieces. Assembling the top row by row.

All straight cutting and all straight seams! Perfect for beginners.

Originally I made this design with a large Dark Blue sperm whale with happy stripped fish. It was one of my very early designs. Taking a second look at the pattern years later, when I made a pink Whale on Dark blue water, I realized there was a better way to put it together. So I simplified the fish, they can get crazy enough with fabric choice, and stripped it a little differently. I can truly say this is a great pattern for beginners. A Fun one for Fabric.
