This Humpty Dumpty Baby Quilt Pattern was requested by a customer looking for a cute nursery rhyme baby quilt pattern. She said she had the perfect Nursery Rhyme backing for it. It was really fun to work with her and my mother to make this classic Humpty Dumpty quilt pattern.
The pattern is written using charts to help you cut rectangle and square pieces for this traditionally pieced, strip sewn, image style quilt.
Step 1 cut each color into 1-3 sizes of strips
Step 2, cross cut those strips into varying length pieces. These pieces will be shown in a table format, and alphabetically labeled.
Shaping is done with quick corner half square triangles.
Step 3, follow a full page color image of the Humpty Dumpty with all his pieces alphabetically labeled. Simply sew piece to piece row by row and watch the image come together.
Perfect for beginners, all straight cutting and all straight seams. If you can sew a true 1/4 inch seam you can put this quilt together. I can put a crib size together in a weekend, making it a great baby shower gift.
The pattern comes with 2 additional pages with a smaller 24x28 and larger 48x56 set of measurements. This is the same image just scaled up or down for you. There will be a new strip cutting table along with new chart tops for adjusted piece lengths.
