A Koala Quilt pattern for those who like me are fascinated by these fluffy eared creatures. This was inspired, along with Kangaroo, by my parents time in Australia. It is a great Baby Quilt pattern, but with the multiple sizes you could make it for an older Koala lover too.

I have played with a baby Koala on mom's back as a custom order, message me if you might be interested in seeing that design.

* 3 sizes: The main instruction is for the Crib size 36"x42", with additional pages for a smaller 24”x28” and larger 48"x56"

Use the small size as a wall hanging in a safari room, or to be a part of a large quilt, perhaps paired with another of my patterns. The Middle size is great for Baby with or without border. The Large size is perfect for a Toddler bed, Throw quilt for TV watching, or border the Large size to make a Twin or Full bed. It is really up to you.

*Skill Level: Beginner

The pattern lists fabric yardage, then charts for how many strips to cut, and then how many pieces. Once the pieces are cut you follow a full page labeled picture, sewing straight 1/4 inch seams. The shaping is done with quick corner triangles, or the "snowball method". Lay a square on top and sew corner to corner, then trim and flip.
