Monkey Baby Quilt Pattern - Great one for Grandma's stocking up since a friendly monkey works for boys and girls of all ages.
3 sizes: Main instruction is for Crib 36"x42", with additional 24"x28" and 48"x56" . The small size works as a block in combination with other jungle animals. The Large size covers a toddler bed. It also covers lap well. And if you add borders you can easily put it on twin bed as well.
Skill Level: Beginner. All straight cutting and straight seams.
The pattern lists fabric yardage, then charts for how many strips to cut, and then how many pieces from those strips. The shaping is done with quick corner triangles, or the "snowball method". Lay a square on top and sew corner to corner, then trim and flip. Once those are marked you will follow a full page labled color image of the monkey, sewing the top together row by row.
