I made the sample as a 24"x28" wall hanging perfect for any cabin or rustic themed room. But you can move on up a size for those who like me have 9 lb baby moose to be wrapped up. Once more size up and you have a lap quilt for the outdoors-men in your life. You don't have to stop at the lap size either, add borders to make a twin or full bed quilt.
Skill Level: Beginner
The pattern lists fabric yardage, then uses charts to show the number of strips to cut for each color, and the number of pieces to cut from those strips. The shaping is done with quick corner half square triangles. Once those are marked you will follow a full-page color image of the quilt top alphabetically labeled for easy pieced row by row assembly. All straight cutting, and all straight sewing perfect for a beginner, or as a weekend project for you pros.
