Just in time for Christmas! A Nativity quilt pattern. Made in my usual stripped and pieced method. This a great throw quilt to add to your Christmas décor. A useful reminder of the reason for the season.
The pattern comes in my 3 standard sizes: Main instruction for 36x42 image, with additional 24x28 and 48x56. Sample shown in 48x56 backed with plush minky fabric.
Made in the Counted Quilts method. Step 1 cut strips. Step 2 cut rectangle pieces from those strips. Shaping is done with quick corner half square triangles, and a few half rectangle triangles. Step 3 follow a full page labeled color diagram of the image.
This pattern is marked as intermediate instead of beginner because of the half rectangle triangles used to make the star. Otherwise it is still a very simple quilt pattern to put together. Still all straight cutting and all straight seams.
