This Rainbow quilt pattern is great for all ages. The main instruction is for finished size 36x42 inches. There are additional pages for a smaller 24x28, and larger 48x56. Adding borders gives you even more flexibility. Making this an easy baby quilt especially is made in softer colors, or as a large throw for older rainbow lovers.

The Quilt is traditionally pieces in my Counted Quilts method. All Straight cutting, all straight seams, making these patterns great for beginning quilters. First cut 2-3 sizes of strips for each color. Second cross cut those strips into varying length pieces, alphabetically labeled. Third sew piece by piece, row by row, following a full page color image also alphabetically labeled. Shaping is done with half square triangles in the quick corner, or snowball method.
