This is a simple yet beautiful quilt pattern of a Rose. Made in the stripped and pieced Counted Quilts style.
The sample quilt size is a 48x48 image of the rose with a 6 inch wide pedal border, for a 60x60 lap quilt. Like most of my patterns this comes with additional instructions for different sizes, a 24"x24" wall hanging, a 36"x36" baby quilt.
The sample is sewn with Timeless Treasure line Solid-ish Basic by Kim Einmo, works with any set of blending fabrics, in whatever rose color inspires you.
Good pattern for meander or filler quilting.
This was originally a custom order. The sent me a beautiful photo of a multi-colored rose and asked if I could turn it into a quilt pattern. With her great faith in my abilities to make a simple pattern look like a real rose, I gave it a try. And I have to say I am please with the way it turned out.
