Shark Patterns - Baby, Twin, Pillowcase

The Shark Quilt pattern the standard 3 size pattern making a 24x28, 36x42, 48x56 quilt top. The 3 sizes allows you to combine it with other sea creatures in an underwater themed room.

There is also a matching Pillowcase pattern. Finished pillowcase size: 31"x21". The top is sewn using a strip and pieced method great for even beginning quilters.

The smiley Shark Twin quilt pattern was created for a customer, and is made specifically for a twin bed with the Shark image covering the entire top of a twin mattress 39x75 and then is bordered for desired overhang 63x85 as shown. That can be adjusted for more of less overhang.

These are great patterns for beginning quilters, instructions include: fabric yardage, cutting instructions, triangle tips, sewing instructions, and basic finishing instruction.

The pattern first uses a chart with the given number of strips to be cut for each color. Second, a set of charts with the given lengths of the alphabetically labeled pieces to be cut from those strips. Next you sew straight 1/4 inch seams following a full page labeled picture of the quilt top.
