Finished pillowcase size: 31"x21"
The top is sewn using a strip and pieced method great for even beginning quilters.
1. Use a chart to cut 3 different width strips.
2. Use a set of charts to cut those strips into alphabetically labeled pieces.
3. Sew the top using 1/4 inch straight seams following a full page labeled picture "map"
The shaping is done with quick corner triangles, or the "snowball method". Lay a square on top and sew corner to corner, then trim and flip.
The instructions explain how to turn the top (picture) into a pillowcase. There are also some links to videos on my Facebook page. Not sure they will like sleeping on the seams, they can always turn it over to the seamless back side. That is what my kids do.
