Skunk Baby Quilt Pattern. The perfect quilt for your cute little stinker.

Sizes: Crib 36"x42", with additional Small 24"x28" and Large 48"x56". The large size makes a great toddler bed quilt or add borders to put it on a twin bed for your bigger stinkers.

Skill Level: Beginner The pattern lists fabric yardage, then uses charts to show the number of strips to cut and the number of rectangle pieces to cut from those strips. The entire top is then sewn using straight 1/4" seams. The shaping is done with quick corner triangles also called the snowball method. There are some instructional videos on YouTube. Just search Counted Quilts Dog instruction.

This design has some smaller details and round eyes that my process does not allow. These will be added in an applique fashion after the top has been sewn together.

Selecting Fabrics: Due to the fact that the pattern pieces may be sewn both horizontally and vertically to make the picture we recommend using non-directional fabric, such as small prints and simple textured fabric.

My favorite thing about this new design is how much the look changes when you use different background colors, and there are so many fun nature texture fabrics to choose from.
