This quilt pattern makes this Snake quilt for your little squeezer. One of my favorite things about this pattern is the possibilities. The pattern is written for the traditional green with yellow triangles as shown in the first image, but you can easily change it to their favorite color. Not sure you want to go that bold then just change the color of the triangles on the back.
The main instruction is for the crib size 36x42, plus 2 pages for alternate sizes smaller 24x28, and larger 48x56. The multiple sizes make this a great pattern for kids of all ages. Or a younger, older sibling combo.
My patterns use charts. First, with the yardage and given number of strips to cut for each color fabric. Second, a set of charts giving the cross cut lengths for the pieces, each label alphabetically. Then you will follow a full page labeled color image of the quilt top. The shaping is done with half square triangles in the quick corner method. So the entire top is sew with straight 1/4" seams. There are some helpful videos on YouTube for those need assistance here.
