Snowboarding Quilt Pattern is for a twin size quilt, 66x84 inches finished, made from 6 individual snowboarding silhouettes, 18x18 blocks, bordered for a twin bed. Easily add more borders for a larger bed or less images for a smaller.
Strip cut and Pieced (not paper piecing). My patterns are made in a stripped and pieced method great for beginners. I use charts for the cutting instructions. First, with the yardage and given number of strips to cut for each color fabric. Second, a set of charts giving the cross-cut lengths for the rectangle pieces, each label alphabetically. Then you will follow a full page alphabetically labeled color image of the quilt top.
The shaping is done with half square triangles in the quick corner method. Making the entire top sewn with straight 1/4" seams. There are some helpful videos on YouTube for those need assistance.
Easy outline quilting, with some echo quilting to fill the spaces. Get creative in the blocks, the sample shows snowflakes and an hour glass diamond design.
Size: Each snowboarder block is 18x18. The borders 6 inch blocks and 3 inches wide stripes. Making the finished size 66x84 inches.
